Intrepid Hikers

Today we enjoyed one of the few "fine" days we've had all spring by hiking up Mt. Si with our friends Jill and Jason. It's a trek at 4-miles to the top and about 3000 feet elevation gain, but the views from there are stunning. You can see Mt. Rainier, downtown Seattle, and of course the growing town of North Bend at the base of the mountain. We shared some of our lunch at the top with Gray Jays and chipmunks. This trail seems to be the hiking freeway of Seattle, so be prepared to share it with endless people.
