For All Those Who Doubted the Virility of our Corn...

When we bought our lone corn plant in spring, many a concerned person told us that we wouldn't actually get any cobs because the plant needed fertilization from another plant. We thought it was fun to watch the plant grow though, so we left it in the ground. A little while ago we noticed a cob starting to grow - and now we have four! Last night we ate the first one, and boy was it divine. The tenderest I've had, and taste was 9/10; my only complaint was the kernels were a little small. Yummy!
